Description

The 12+ 6 Adapter Kit v2 will convert newer Apple 12+6 WiFi Cards to be used in a selection of older MacBook Pros, MacBooks, and Mac Minis. It enables a number of unsupported features Including Handoff Features, Continuity Features, Apple Watch Unlocking, faster 802.11ac WiFi Speeds (up to 1300Mbps) and Bluetooth 4.2 depending on the WiFi card and MacOS version used. Compatibility can be found here

It is a flexible and cost-effective way to keep you Mac upto date. With the ability to use a variety of 12+6 WiFi cards dependent on the features you require.

 

The Kit consists of :

• 1x 12+6 – 30pin Molex adapter v2
• 4x IPEX 1 – IPEX 4 antenna adapters
• 20mmx50mm of 3m VHB Foam tape
• 3 different types of Heatshrink to insulate the IPEX adapters card and USB/Camera Cable
• Optional WiFi Card

 

(You will need to supply a suitable 12+6 WiFi card we often have a selection available here or via the drop down menu otherwise these card these are readily available from you local computer repair shop, or favourite online auction site )
